Outside Service, definition

Outside Service, in this policy, means activity voluntarily performed by a UNT employee for an external organization or individual (excluding dual or outside employment) other than activities expected or required to fulfill the individual’s responsibilities to the university as part of faculty workload or staff job responsibilities, with or without remuneration. This service includes but is not limited to elective or non- elective offices or positions of honor, trust or profit with any governmental entity; non- elective offices with Boards, Commissions, and other state and federal entities; and service as a member of the governing body of a school district, municipality, or other governmental districts.
Outside Service, means service for full years as defined by (45)(A)(x) and (45)(B)(xi) of this section

Examples of Outside Service, in a sentence

  • It will be the member’s responsibility to provide proof of Outside Service, which shall consist of a signed letter from an authorized representative of a recognized Canadian police service, including military police, confirming start and end dates of employment as well as positions held.

  • The Funds are free to engage a service provider under an Outside Service Agreement without first obtaining the agreement of the Transfer Agent that such fees are reasonable, but in that event the parties hereto shall negotiate in good faith to determine the amount of the Transfer Agent’s fees to be waived.

  • In the event that the Funds obtain services otherwise required of the Transfer Agent hereunder pursuant to any such Outside Service Agreements, the Transfer Agent’s fees shall be adjusted in accordance with Article 2 hereof.

  • Upon receipt of any notice of execution of an Outside Servicing Agreement with respect to an Outside Serviced Mortgage Loan or notice of any Reportable Event with respect to any Outside Service Provider of an Outside Serviced Mortgage Loan, the Trustee or the Certificate Administrator, as the case may be, shall promptly notify the Depositor of such notice and cooperate with the Depositor to prepare and file on behalf of the Trust any Form 8-K, as required by the Exchange Act.

  • Effective 10/01/2006, include Outside Service Duty Detail Compensation as Pensionable Earnings up to a maximum of $10,000 per year.

  • In the event that the Trusts enter into such an Outside Service Agreement, the Trusts and the Funds shall look to the counterparty directly for the performance of the contracted services (subject to any supervision responsibilities of the Administrator hereunder) and shall also be responsible for the payment of applicable fees and expenses.

  • However all Outside Service Duty Detail earnings will be subject to the Employees contribution rate agreed herein.
