Lockdown means the period between 23H59 on 26 March 2020, until 23H59 on 30 April 2020;
Weathertight means that in any sea conditions water will not penetrate into the ship.
Inclement Weather means any weather condition that delays the scheduled arrival or departure of a Common Carrier.
Pruning means the appropriate removal in accordance with good arboricultural practices of not more than one-third of the live branches or limbs of a tree or more than one-third of the live branches or limbs on a tree as part of a consistent annual pruning program;
Epidemic means a sudden development and rapid spreading of a contagious disease in a region where it developed in a simply endemic state or within a previously unscathed community.
Labour means worker employed by the Bank/SBIIMS's contractor directly or indirectly through a sub-contractor or other persons or by an agent on his behalf of a payment not exceeding Rs.
Intermittent means care that is to be rendered because of a medically predictable recurring need for skilled home health care. “Skilled home health care” means reasonable and necessary care for the treatment of an illness or injury which requires the skill of a nurse or therapist, based on the complexity of the service and the condition of the patient and which is performed directly by an appropriately licensed professional provider. Home health care requires Preauthorization.
Work stoppage means a concerted failure by employees to report for duty, a concerted absence of employees from work, a concerted stoppage of work, or a concerted slowdown in the full and faithful performance of duties by a group of employees. The officers of MSEA-SEIU, at all levels individually and collectively, agree that it is their continuing obligation and responsibility to maintain compliance with this Article, including the remaining at work during any interruption or slowdown of work which may take place.
Breakdown /“breaks down”/“broken down” means an event during the policy period, that stops the vehicle from being driven because of a mechanical or electrical failure including as a result of battery failure, running out of fuel, flat tyres, but not as a result of a mis-fuel, road traffic collision, fire, flood, theft, acts of vandalism, any driver induced fault, or any key related issue other than keys locked in your vehicle;
Decay means that any portion of the kernel is decomposed.
Peak tube potential means the maximum value of the potential difference across the x-ray tube during an exposure.
Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.
Machinery means any article or combination of articles assembled, arranged or connected and which is used or intended to be used for converting any form of energy to performing work, or which is used or intended to be used, whether incidental thereto or not, for developing, receiving, storing, containing, confining, transforming, transmitting, transferring or controlling any form of energy;
Lock long and short positions of the same volume that were opened for the same instrument on the same account.
Farm means that term as defined in section 2 of the Michigan right to farm act, 1981 PA 93, MCL 286.472.
Sabotage means deliberate damage, with malevolent intent, to a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, a device that contains a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, or the components of the security system.
Cold Weather Alert means the notice that PJM provides to PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators to prepare personnel and facilities for expected extreme cold weather conditions.
Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.
Washout means the carrying away of solid waste by waters of the base flood.
Shortage means that a grain dealer does not have a sufficient amount of farm produce by class and quality to cover the grain dealer's outstanding warehouse receipt obligations for that farm produce.
Unavoidable means adverse impacts that remain after all appropriate and practicable avoidance and minimization have been achieved.
Fuel means any solid, liquid or gaseous combustible material;
Weatherization means building insulation (for attic, exterior walls and crawl space), siding to improve energy efficiency, replacement storm windows, replacement storm doors, replacement windows and replacement doors, and is considered a major system for rehabilitation.
Counterfeit Work means Work that is or contains items misrepresented as having been designed and/or produced under an approved system or other acceptable method. The term also includes approved Work that has reached a design life limit or has been damaged beyond possible repair, but is altered and misrepresented as acceptable.
Blasting means changing the level or grade of land or rendering, tearing, demolishing, moving, or removing earth, rock, buildings, structures, or other masses or materials by seismic blasting or the detonation of dynamite or any other explosive agent.
Slippage means the difference between the expected price of a Transaction in a CFD, and the price the Transaction is actually executed at. Slippage often occurs during periods of higher volatility (for example due to news events) making an Order at a specific price impossible to execute, when market orders are used, and also when large Orders are executed when there may not be enough interest at the desired price level to maintain the expected price of trade.
