Outage Work definition

Outage Work is planned statutory work undertaken at regular intervals as required by the Victorian Workcover Authority. This includes work to prepare specifically for the outage. Outage work also includes demolition work associated with precipitator refurbishment. "Outage Related Projects" - are defined as general improvement projects that, as an example, include: generator refurbishment, HP turbine replacement.
Outage Work has the meaning set forth in Section 8.6.4.

Examples of Outage Work in a sentence

  • Contractor shall perform the Outage Work during the Agreed Outage Period.

  • If the time of the outage of an Excluded Facility differs from the Agreed Outage Period and the differing time of the outage affects Contractor in its performance of the Outage Work or if Company does not permit Contractor to perform the Outage Work during the Agreed Outage Period, then a Schedule Extension Condition may occur.

  • The RMEC Outage Work Period shall be extended as reasonably necessary to accommodate Rocky Mountain Seller’s completion of any Essential Discovery Work.

  • If Contractor does not complete the Outage Work during the Agreed Outage Period, then Company may direct that the Outage Work be suspended by Contractor at the conclusion of the Agreed Outage Period and carried over for completion during the next Agreed Outage Period, and no Schedule Extension Condition will occur.

Related to Outage Work

  • piece-work means any work the pay for which is estimated by the amount of work performed irrespective of the time occupied in its performance;

  • drainage work means any watercourse and includes any land which is expected to provide flood storage capacity for any watercourse and any bank, wall, embankment or other structure, or any appliance, constructed or used for land drainage or flood defence;

  • Outage means the elapsed net-resolution time during which it is not possible to log-in to the Production Environment by any User, as determined by IFS or the Cloud Platform Vendor from automated health monitoring and system logs, due to a failure in the Cloud Platform. The duration of an Outage is measured during Service Hours on a net-resolution time basis from which the accumulated time for all Clock-Stop Events related to the Outage will be deducted, until the Outage has been temporarily or permanently resolved.

  • The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities dispatched by PJM or the NYISO, as described in Section 35.9 of this Agreement.
