Customer Responsibilities means the responsibilities of the Customer set out in Call Off Schedule 4 (Implementation Plan) and any other responsibilities of the Customer in the Call Off Order Form or agreed in writing between the Parties from time to time in connection with this Call Off Contract;
Institutional Responsibilities means an Investigator’s professional responsibilities on behalf of the Institution, including activities such as research, teaching, clinical or other professional practice, academic activities, scholarly events, institutional committee memberships, and service on panels such as Institutional Review Boards or Data and Safety Monitoring Boards.
Responsibilities means the responsibilities delegated to BNY under the Rule as a Foreign Custody Manager with respect to each Specified Country and each Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by BNY, as such responsibilities are more fully described in Article III of this Agreement.
Financial responsibility means the ability to respond in damages for liability thereafter incurred
Proof of financial responsibility means proof of ability to respond in damages for liability, on account of accidents occurring after the effective date of the proof, arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of a motor vehicle, in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of one person in any one accident, and, subject to the limit for one person, in the amount of fifty thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in any one accident, and in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars because of injury to or destruction of property of others in any one accident.
parental responsibility , in relation to a child, means all the duties, powers, responsibilities and authority which, by law, parents have in relation to children.
Extended producer responsibility ’ (EPR) means responsibility of any producer of packaging products such as plastic, tin, glass, wrappers and corrugated boxes, etc., for environmentally sound management, till end-of-life of the packaging products ;
Official responsibility means administrative or operating authority, whether intermediate or final, to initiate, approve, disapprove or otherwise affect a procurement transaction, or any claim resulting therefrom.
Residual parental rights and responsibilities means all rights and responsibilities remaining with the
Scope of Services or “Scope of Work” means the work to be performed by the Proposer or Consultant as described in Section 2.0 of this RFP, as amended thereto.
Duties includes obligations. (5) The word “person” includes natural persons, firms, companies, associations, partnerships, trusts, corporations, governmental agencies and units, and other legal entities. (6) The word “shall” is mandatory. (7) The word “day” means calendar day. (8) The word “Work” is defined in Section 2. (9) A definition in this contract will not apply to the extent the context requires otherwise.
Medical Affairs Activities means activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or further research regarding, a Product sold in the Territory, including by way of example: (a) customary activities of medical science liaisons; (b) grants to support continuing medical education, symposia, or Third Party research related to a Product in the Territory; (c) development, publication and dissemination of publications relating to a Product in the Territory; (d) medical information services provided in response to inquiries communicated via sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email; (e) conducting advisory board meetings or other consultant programs; and (f) establishment and implementation of risk, evaluation and mitigation and strategies (REMS); provided that, for purposes of cost allocation provisions under this Agreement, Medical Affairs Activities shall not include the conduct of Clinical Trials.
Designated crisis responder means a mental health
Transition means: 1) the formal and physical process of transferring from school to school or 2) the period of time in which a student moves from one school in the sending state to another school in the receiving state.
Responsibility means a duty for which a person is accountable by virtue of licensure.
Department of Health and Human Services means the Department of Health and Human Services of the United States government or any department or agency thereof that may hereafter be designated as the agency to administer the Social Security Act, as amended.
Remedial response means a measure to stop and correct prohibited conduct, prevent prohibited conduct from recurring, and protect, support, and intervene on behalf of a student who is the target or victim of prohibited conduct.
Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.
Emergency responder means an employee who is necessary for the provision of transport, care, health care, comfort, and nutrition of patients, or whose services are otherwise needed to limit the spread of COVID-19, including, but not limited to, law enforcement officers, correctional institution personnel, fire fighters, emergency medical services personnel, physicians, nurses, public health personnel, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, emergency management personnel, 911 operators, child welfare workers and service providers, public works personnel and persons with skills or training in operating specialized equipment or the skills needed to provide aid in a declared emergency and well as personnel who work for such facilities employing these individuals and whose work is necessary to maintain the operations of the facility.
Oversight means the term as it is defined in the Stewardship Agreement between CDOT and the FHWA.

Emergency medical responder or “EMR” means an individual who has successfully completed a course of study based on the United States Department of Transportation’s Emergency Medical Responder Instructional Guidelines (January 2009), has passed the psychomotor and cognitive examinations for the EMR, and is currently certified by the department as an EMR.
Role means a person’s job as a caregiver or noncaregiver employee or a person’s status as a household member at a child care program.
Emergency response as used in RCW 38.52.430 means a public agency's use of emergency services during an emergency or disaster as defined in subsection (6)(b) of this section.
PQQ Response means, where the Framework Agreement has been awarded under the Restricted Procedure, the response submitted by the Supplier to the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire issued by the Authority, and the expressions “Restricted Procedure” and “Pre-Qualification Questionnaire” shall have the meaning given to them in the Regulations;
Chief Compliance Officer means the individual appointed by the Board as BSEF’s chief compliance officer in accordance with the Operating Agreement, with the duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time as set forth in Rule 208.
