Other Hearing definition
Other Hearing means any hearing in a Very High Cost Case which lasts 2 hours or less. This term does not apply to hearings forming part of an effective trial which last less than 2 hours, or to substantive appeal hearings, which last less than 2 hours.

We revised and restructured the “Hearing Aids and Other Hearing Devices for Dependents” section of the EOC and Benefit Summary to include the new provisions and changes outlined in OR House Bill 2994.
Some of these changes include: Renaming the section from “Hearing Aid Services for Dependents” to “Hearing Aids and Other Hearing Devices for Dependents.” Changing the term “hearing assistive technology systems” to “assistive listening devices” to align with bill terminology updates.
In the “Hearing Aids and Other Hearing Devices for Dependents” section of the EOC, we added an exclusion to clarify that we do not cover non- prescription over-the-counter hearing aids.
