Other Benefit Plan definition

Other Benefit Plan means any employee welfare benefit plan (within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended) maintained by the Company.
Other Benefit Plan means any arrangement providing health care benefits or services, including but not limited to: group, blanket, or franchise insurance coverage; group or individual practice or other prepayment coverage; labor management trusteed plans; union welfare plans; employer organization plans, or employee benefit organization plans; or any tax supported or governmental program.
Other Benefit Plan means any bonus, deferred compensation, stock purchase, stock option, stock appreciation rights, phantom stock rights, severance, salary continuation, vacation, sick leave, fringe benefit, incentive, insurance, welfare or similar plan or arrangement other than a Plan, Multiemployer Plan and Welfare Plan.

Examples of Other Benefit Plan in a sentence

  • When a plan covers the Covered Person as an active employee or a Dependent of such employee and the Other Benefit Plan covers the Covered Person as a laid-off or retired employee or as a Dependent of such person, the plan that covers the Covered Person as an active employee or Dependent of such employee is primary.

More Definitions of Other Benefit Plan

Other Benefit Plan means any employee benefit plan, within the meaning of Section 3(3) of ERISA, employment or other compensation plan, program or contract, including, without limitation, a "cafeteria plan" under Section 125 of the Code, under any of which any Borrower or any Subsidiary of the Borrowers have any liability or obligation, but excluding any Pension Plan or Multiemployer plan.
Other Benefit Plan means any employment contract or bonus, deferred compensation, stock purchase, stock option, severance, salary continuation, vacation, sick leave, change of control, retention or similar material plan or arrangement.
Other Benefit Plan any Benefit Plan sponsored or maintained by UWS prior to the Distribution Date other than a Transferred Retirement Plan, a Welfare Plan, the UWS Nonqualified Compensation Plans, the UWS SAR Plan, the UWS Stock Option Plans, the Supplemental Retirement Plan and the Deferred Compensation Plan.
Other Benefit Plan means any bonus, deferred compensation, stock purchase, stock option, stock appreciation rights, phantom stock rights, severance, salary continuation, vacation, sick leave, fringe benefit, incentive, insurance, welfare or similar plan or arrangement other than a Pension Plan, Multiemployer Plan, Welfare Plan or the Redemption Agreements. “Pension Plan” means any employee pension benefit plan as defined in Section 3(2) of ERISA or the Laws of any other relevant jurisdiction. “Welfare Plan” means any employee welfare benefit plan as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA or the Laws of any other relevant jurisdiction.

  • Seller Benefit Plan means each Benefit Plan sponsored, maintained or contributed to by Seller or any of its Subsidiaries or with respect to which Seller or any of its Subsidiaries is a party and in which any Employee is or becomes eligible to participate or derive a benefit.

  • Employee Welfare Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in ERISA Section 3(1).

  • Medical benefit plan means a plan established and maintained by a carrier, a voluntary employees' beneficiary association described in section 501(c)(9) of the internal revenue code of 1986, 26 USC 501, or by 1 or more public employers, that provides for the payment of medical benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits, for public employees or elected public officials. Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.

  • Parent Benefit Plan means any Employee Benefit Plan maintained by, sponsored by or contributed to by, or obligated to be contributed to by any Parent Group Entity.

  • Qualified Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(c).

  • Company Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16(a).
