Oregon Intervention System or "OIS" means a system of providing training to people who work with designated individuals with developmental disabilities, to provide elements of positive behavior support and nonaversive behavior intervention. The system uses principles of pro-active support and describes approved physical intervention techniques that are used to maintain health and safety.
