best means most effective in achieving a high general level of protection of the environment as a whole.
direct “notify” “notice” or “request” means apply approve approval consent direct notify notice or request (as the case may be) in writing;
Indirect Losses means loss of profits, loss of production, loss of business, loss of business opportunity, or any claim for consequential loss or for indirect loss of any nature;
Interests when used herein shall have the respective meanings specified in the Declaration of Trust of the Trust.
Incidental as used in subrule 39.28(10), means that the value of the long-term care benefits provided is less than 10 percent of the total value of the benefits provided over the life of the policy. These values shall be measured as of the date of issue.
Direct Loss means charges actually paid pursuant to this Agreement in respect of the period of the Delay. For the purposes of clause 13.4, the User's losses arising out of a Delay will be taken to include the amount of the relevant Direct Losses.

Consequential Damages means Losses claimed to have resulted from any indirect, incidental, reliance, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, multiple or any other Loss, including damages claimed to have resulted from harm to business, loss of anticipated revenues, savings, or profits, or other economic Loss claimed to have been suffered not measured by the prevailing Party’s actual damages, and any other damages typically considered consequential damages under Applicable Law, regardless of whether the Parties knew or had been advised of the possibility that such damages could result in connection with or arising from anything said, omitted, or done hereunder or related hereto, including willful acts or omissions.
Direct Losses means damages, losses, indebtedness, claims, actions, costs (including the cost of legal or professional services, legal costs being on an indemnity basis), expenses, liabilities, proceedings, demands and charges whether arising under statute, contract or at common law, but excluding Indirect Losses;
Result means any initial, interim, and final decision by any official or entity authorized to resolve disciplinary matters within the institution. The result must include any sanctions imposed by the institution. Notwithstanding FERPA, the result must also include the rationale for the result and the sanctions. 34 C.F.R. 668.46(k)(3)(iv)
Indirect Ownership Interest means an ownership interest in an entity that has an ownership interest in another entity. Indirect ownership interest includes an ownership interest in an entity that has an indirect ownership interest in another entity.
Working Interest means an interest in oil and/or gas in the unit area by virtue of a lease, operating agreement, fee title, or otherwise, including a carried interest, the owner of which is obligated to pay, either in cash or out of production or otherwise a portion of the unit expense.
Indirect holdings means all securities of a company that are held in an account or fund, including a mutual fund, that is managed by one or more persons who are not employed by the state treasurer or a retirement system, if the state treasurer or retirement system owns shares or interests either:
sustained means all or part of the alleged misconduct, as set forth in a complaint or brought to the attention of the Commission through other means, occurred based on a preponderance of the evidence presented, which is defined as more likely than not;

Indirect Costs means those costs that are incurred for a common or joint purpose benefiting more than one cost objective and are not readily assignable to the Project (i.e., costs that are not directly related to the Project). Examples of Indirect Costs include, but are not limited to: central service costs; general administration of the Recipient; non-project-specific accounting and personnel services performed within the Recipient organization; depreciation or use allowances on buildings and equipment; the costs of operating and maintaining non-project-specific facilities; tuition and conference fees; generic overhead or markup; and taxes.
