OPHTHALMIC DEVICE definition
OPHTHALMIC DEVICE means a Therapeutic Device or Delivery Device used for the Treatment of Conditions of the Eye in humans or animals, where the Eye means the eyeball and surrounding structures including but not limited to the sclera, the choroid, the retina, the optic nerve, the lens, the ciliary body, the iris, the pupil, the posterior chamber, the anterior chamber, the back cavity (containing the vitreous humor, the conjunctiva, the insertions of the eye muscles, the nasolacrimal duct, and the lacrimal canal).
