Operator Connect definition

Operator Connect means the Microsoft service managed by an operator (i.e. Orange or a third party chosen by Customer) for bringing PSTN calling and PSTN conferencing to Teams, allowing customers to use their selected voice provider service.
Operator Connect means a service that allows Microsoft Teams users to make external calls and allows administration from the MS Teams centre;

  • Unless otherwise specified, Teams Voice Services includes Microsoft Teams - Direct Routing, Microsoft Teams - Operator Connect and CloudUCX.

  • Customer Tenant means a unique identifier allocated by Microsoft to the Customer in relation to its Microsoft 365 License End Users means anyone permitted by the Customer to use or access the Microsoft Operator Connect Service; Endpoint means the unique reference given to the instance of the Microsoft Operator Connect Service and used to identify the Customer in the Supplier’s Portal; Emergency Authority is the local provider where by all the callers who ring the emergency services are forwarded to.

  • Microsoft Operator Connect provides the Customer with a resilient solution, offering two geographically diverse networks, each hosted in separate co-locations space, and connected with an existing Point of Presence and traffic is load- shared across the two diverse sites.
