Operational Duty definition

Operational Duty means any duty which requires an endorsement or certificate of competency.

Examples of Operational Duty in a sentence

  • In the event vacation hours need to be converted from Operational Duty to Support Duty, they shall be converted at a ratio of 3:2 (i.e. twenty four (24) hours of Operational Duty vacation shall equal sixteen (16) hours of Support Duty vacation) and vice-versa.

  • Vacation is continuously accrued in hours but is taken in the next calendar year in increments of shifts (for those on Operational Duty) and days (for those on Support Duty).
