Operating Work definition

Operating Work means engineering, contract preparation and administration, purchasing, repair, supervision, training, expediting, inspection, testing, protection, operation, use, management, replacement, retirement, reconstruction and maintenance of and for the benefit of the Project, including the administration of the SJPPA, environmental compliance activities and the procurement of fuel and water and other necessary materials and supplies.
Operating Work means work involving the operation of switches, the opening or closing of links or other connections intended for ready removal, the removal or replacement of fuses, proving that electrical apparatus is de-energised and the earthing and short-circuiting of electrical apparatus;
Operating Work means the operation, maintenance, use, repair or retirement of a Facility on or after the Start Date, including but not limited to labor; parts; supplies; insurance; permits; related taxes; community relations; procurement of ancillary services, fuel and other consumables; fuel acquisition or sales, transportation balancing and storage; waste handling and disposal; filing, defense and settlement of claims, suits and causes of action; procurement (or sale) of Allowances and settlement of all other environmental charges (or credits) pertaining to the operation of a Facility; but excluding any Capital Improvements Work.

  • Each Operating Budget shall be given to the Board of Directors for its review, modification and approval along with all other information necessary for the initial forecasts and schedules for Operating Work and each work- activity category thereof.

  • The Operating Work costs and ad valorem taxes for the Microwave System shall be allocated to the Participants and Nonparticipants in accordance with percentages developed from time to time which are based on channel usage in each system.

  • In cases where the allocation of a cost item is to be made between Operating Work and other work, or between Operating Costs and other costs, such allocation shall be made on a fair and equitable basis as reasonably determined by the Operator consistent with the terms of this Agreement.

Related to Operating Work

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.
