Operating Transmission Capability definition

Operating Transmission Capability. The maximum transfer capability, expressed in megawatts (MW), available to IID at any given time to transmit power from Point of Receipt to Point of Delivery. Such transfer capability shall be as determined by IID in its sole judgment, may vary from time-to-time depending on system conditions, and shall be consistent with prudent operating procedures and generally-accepted engineering and operating practices in the electrical utility industry.
