OOSC definition

OOSC means out-of-school children, as specified in the PBR Verification Protocol.
OOSC means children of official school going age (8-17 years) who have not been enrolled in the formal education system the previous school year.

Examples of OOSC in a sentence

  • The OOSC accepts the right to administer first aid and any emergency treatment as required.

  • Parents must provide details, in writing, of the severity of the reaction/ allergy and must continue to inform the OOSC of any changes/progress to the condition, in writing, when they become aware.

  • These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parents (including other carers) and the OOSC.

  • The OOSC cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any parents, carer’s or child’s property or belongings.

  • If emergency treatment at hospital is required, the OOSC will make all reasonable attempts to contact the parents but if this is not possible, we are authorised to act on behalf of the parents and authorise any necessary emergency treatment.

  • The OOSC accepts no liability for any losses suffered by parents arising directly or indirectly, as a result of the OOSC being temporarily closed or the non-admittance of your child to the school club for any reason.

  • We may require parents to withdraw their child from the OOSC in the event that they require special medical care and attention which is not available or refused by the parent, or it is considered that the child is not well enough to attend.

  • If you expect to be late collecting your child, please notify the OOSC as soon as possible.

  • If the parent has made alternative arrangements by telephone, the OOSC will require the name and telephone number of the person permitted to collect the child and proof of identity will be required upon arrival at the OOSC.

  • If the invoice has not been received by the 1st it is the responsibility of the parent to inform the OOSC.
