Ongoing training and evaluation program (OTEP) means a continuous program of ((prehospital EMS)) education for the recertifi- cation of EMS ((personnel after completion of initial training)) pro- viders. An OTEP ((is)) must be approved by the MPD and the department. ((An OTEP must meet the EMS education requirements and core topic con- tent required for recertification. The OTEP method includes evalua- tions of the knowledge and skills covered in the topic content follow- ing each topic presentation.
