Indian-owned economic enterprise means any Indian-owned (as determined by the Secretary of the Interior) commercial, industrial, or business activity established or organized for the purpose of profit, provided that Indian ownership constitutes not less than 51 percent of the enterprise.
Black woman-owned enterprise means an enterprise with at least 25, 1% representation of black women within the black equity and management portion.
Women Owned Business Enterprise or "WBE" means a firm awarded certification as a women owned and controlled business in accordance with City Ordinances and Regulations as well as a firm awarded certification as a women owned business by Cook County, Illinois. However, it does not mean a firm that has been found ineligible or which has been decertified by the City or Cook County.
Veteran-owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) means A business that is verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as a veteran-owned small business. See Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.11.13.
Motorsport Australia means the Confederation of Australia Motor Sport Ltd. trading as Motorsport Australia;
Manager-managed limited liability company means a limited liability company that is managed by
Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
Blockchain means a digital ledger or database which is chronological, consensus-based, decentralized and mathematically verified in nature;
Blockchain technology means the use of a digital database containing records of
Member-managed limited liability company means a limited liability company that is not a manager-managed limited liability company.
Western Australia the following definitions‑
Foreign corporation means a corporation for profit incorporated under a law other than the law of this state.
School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.
Community Contribution Company means a corporation formed under the laws of British Columbia that includes in its articles the following statement:
parent mixed financial holding company in a Member State means a mixed financial holding company which is not itself a subsidiary of an institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in that same Member State;
Controlled Foreign Corporation means “controlled foreign corporation” as defined in the Tax Code.
Public Finance Management Act ’ means the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999);
foreign national means the following:
Harbour Master means the ABP Harbour Master or Dock Master for the Port (as appropriate) or their authorised representative;
School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.
France means the European and overseas departments of the French Republic, including the territorial sea, and any area outside the territorial sea within which, in accordance with international law, the French Republic has sovereign rights for the purpose of exploring and exploiting the natural resources of the sea-bed and its subsoil and the superjacent waters;
Foreign limited liability company means an unincorporated entity formed under the law of a jurisdiction other than this state and denominated by that law as a limited liability company.
Foreign limited liability limited partnership means a foreign limited partnership whose general partners have limited liability for the obligations of the foreign limited partnership under a provision similar to section 488.404, subsection 3.
Domestic limited liability company means an entity that is an unincorporated association having one or more members and that is organized under ORS chapter 63.
South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
Chile means the Republic of Chile.
