Oil Operations definition

Oil Operations means all operations for the prospecting, research, evaluation, development, production, storage, transport and sale of the Hydrocarbons to the Delivery Point, including the treatment of Natural Gas, but excluding the refining and distribution of petroleum products.
Oil Operations means all operations authorized by the Contract and that are related to exploration, development, production, separation and treatment, storage, transportation and selling or transferring of Hydrocarbons up to the exportation point or to the Delivery Point agreed upon in Benin or to the delivery point in a refinery in Benin in accordance with the Contract; they shall cover the treatment operations of the Natural Gas but shall not include refining operations of the Crude Oil.
Oil Operations means any activity undertaken in connection with the extraction, production, storage or shipping of Oil, Gas or other hydrocarbon substances including but not limited to: Drilling, Redrilling, Reworking, Maintenance, repair, installation, construction operations, Processing, Enhanced Oil Recovery, bioremediation, Well Abandonment, remediation, clean-up, demolition, restoration, and revegetation. The term shall not include purely administrative operations (e.g. work carried on in the administrative office buildings).

  • The costs for the provision of services rendered for the needs of the Oil Operations by the subcontractors, consultants, expert advisors as well as all costs related to services rendered by the State or any other Senegalese authority.

  • The object of this Accounting Procedure is to establish the rules and methods of accounting for the determination of the costs and expenses incurred by the Contractor and necessary, in accordance with the rules of the art in use in the international oil industry, for Oil Operations (hereinafter called “Oil Costs”).

  • The State shall in no way be liable for any damage, accident or dispute related to the Oil Operations.

  • The Contractor shall assume, at its own risk and expense, the entire responsibility for the implementation and the financing of the Oil Operations.

  • A reasonable rate shall be applied for technical services rendered by the Contractor or by its Affiliated Companies in relation to the Oil Operations executed within the framework of this Contract, such as gas, water or bore sample analyses, and any other test and analysis, on condition that such rates do not exceed those normally applied to similar services provided by service companies and independent laboratories.
