Offshore Drilling Rig definition

Offshore Drilling Rig means a mobile offshore drilling unit or similar equipment used to drill a wellbore in an offshore marine environment including, without limitation, a bottom-supported unit, such as a ▇▇▇▇-up rig, and a floating unit, such as a semisubmersible or a drillship, and which the IHS Petrodata RigBase indicates has been constructed and delivered and is part of the active drilling fleet included in the IHS Petrodata RigBase.
