Officia definition

Officia  means any person (including such person's election committee) who was, at the time of the Contribution, an incumbent, candidate, or successful candidate for elective office of a Government Entity. In some circumstances, a Contribution to a local political party or a political action committee may be deemed to be a Contribution to an individual Official or Officials. Note, this definition applies to any incumbent Official who is a candidate for an elective office of the federal government, and vice versa.
