In the spirit of the protocols in relation to freedoms and flexibilities which have been granted by the ODPM to excellent authorities, the Council as Accountable Body should be afforded the opportunity to prepare its monitoring reports in a format consistent with the effective operation of the Local Area Agreement.

The stronger element of the agreement with the ODPM funds, which are channelled into Gloucester, will continue to be managed by the Community Counts Neighbourhood Management Board and the Liveability Fund through the Gloucester City Council.
