Consultant’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: determining requirements for available incentives through cooperation with ODOE, the local utility, and ETO; completing all required documentation for submission; and ensuring that all required documentation is submitted in the required timeline.
Consultant shall provide analysis and documentation necessary for Owner to obtain the maximum amount of energy incentives available through the State of Oregon, Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) through the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE), utility incentives available through an appropriate local utility, and energy incentives available through the Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO).

The project also aligns with many goals of the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE), such as: collecting data and information on offshore wind and transmission infrastructure, sharing of data and the involvement of stakeholders from ODOE’s Oregon Renewable Energy Siting Assessment (ORESA) study, supporting the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) process for identifying offshore wind call areas, and providing technical support on Oregon energy issues.
Contractor shall obtain the following insurance from insurance companies or entities that are authorized to transact the business of insurance and issue coverage in State and that are acceptable to ODOE.
NWN shall notify ODOE, the State Building Codes Division and DOGAMI promptly if shear zones, artesian aquifers, deformations or clastic dikes are found at or in the vicinity of the site.
Prior to any amendment that changes the site, NWN shall submit to the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) a legal description of the Project site to be appended to the Site Certificate prior to construction.
Contractor shall provide to ODOE Certificate(s) of Insurance for all required insurance before delivering any Goods and performing any Services required under this Agreement.
As proof of insurance ODOE has the right to request copies of insurance policies relating to the insurance requirements in this Agreement.
