Observership Program definition

Observership Program means the program run by the Company through which participants are paired with the board of a non-profit organisation for a 12 month period, during which time the participant will use best endeavours to attend all board and/or committee meetings as non- voting members, and participate in training and information sessions about fundamental principles and functions of non-profit boards, the roles of board members, its decision making process, fiscal processes, and other governance priorities.

  • PEBB program means the program within the HCA that administers insurance and other benefits for eligible employees (as described in WAC 182-12-114), eligible retired employees (as described in WAC 182-12-171 and 182-12-180), eligible survivors (as described in WAC 182-12-180, 182-12-250, and 182-12-265), eligible dependents (as de- scribed in WAC 182-12-250 and 182-12-260) and others as defined in RCW 41.05.011.

  • Apprenticeship program means a program registered with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, which includes terms and conditions for the qualification, recruitment, selection, employment, and training of apprentices, including the requirement for a written apprenticeship agreement.

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • Program Plan means the tobacco settlement program plan dated February 14, 2001, including exhibits to the program plan, submitted by the authority to the legislative council and the executive council, to provide the state with a secure and stable source of funding for the purposes designated by section 12E.3A and other provisions of this chapter.

  • Registered apprenticeship program means an apprenticeship program which is registered with and approved by the United States Department of Labor and which provides each trainee with combined classroom and on-the-job training in an occupation recognized as an apprenticeable trade and meets the program standards of enrollment and graduation under 29 C.F.R. s.29.6.
