NYLIAC definition

NYLIAC means New York Life Insurance and Annuity Corporation.
NYLIAC or the "Company") a Delaware life insurance company, on its own behalf and on behalf of the segregated asset accounts of the Company set forth on Schedule A hereto as the Parties may agree in writing to amend from time to time (each, the "Account" collectively, the "Accounts"), Variable Insurance Funds (the "Fund"), a Massachusetts business trust, AmSouth Bank (the "Adviser"), an Alabama State bank, and BISYS Fund Services Limited Partnership (the "Underwriter"), an Ohio limited partnership.

Examples of NYLIAC in a sentence

  • Eagle and NYLIAC agree that Eagle is not licensed as either an insurance company or an insurance agency and will not provide insurance-related services or advice.

  • NYLIAC and Eagle and their respective duly authorized representatives shall, at all reasonable times, each be permitted access to all relevant books and records of the other pertaining to charges allocated to or made pursuant to this Agreement.

  • NYLIM and NYLIAC each represent and warrant that they are under the same control and management.

  • Eagle will promptly notify NYLIAC if a Client terminates the Client Agreement.

  • NYLIAC represents that the LWVUL will be issued and sold in compliance in all material respects with all applicable federal and state laws.

  • The performance of this Agreement shall not impair the control of the business and operations of each of NYLIAC and Eagle by their respective Board of Managers/Directors, as applicable.

  • MainStay Management hereby consents to this assumption by NYLIM of the interest, rights and responsibilities of NYLIAC under the Administration Agreement and to the termination of the Master Subadministration Agreement between it and NYLIAC after the effective date described above.

  • NYLIAC understands and agrees that by contracting with Eagle to receive the services herein, NYLIAC may become subject to certain requirements pursuant to Rule 206(4)-2 of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, including an audit performed by a third-party auditor.

  • NYLIAC will assure that each Registered Separate Account participating in the Fund calculates voting privileges with respect to shares of the Fund in a manner consistent with the other Registered Separate Accounts owning shares of the Fund.
