Nuveen Persons definition

Nuveen Persons means the Investment Adviser or any affiliated person of the Investment Adviser (as defined in Section 2(a)(3) of the ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇) (other than the Fund, in the case of a redemption or purchase of the New VMTP Shares which are to be cancelled within ten (10) days of purchase by the Fund).
Nuveen Persons means the Investment Adviser or any affiliated person of the Investment Adviser (as defined in Section 2(a)(3) of the 1940 Act) (other than the Fund, in the case of a redemption or purchase of MFP Shares which are to be cancelled within ten (10) days of purchase by the Fund).

  • In-person means a proceeding where members participate In-Person at Council and Committee meetings.

  • nationals means: (i) all individuals possessing the nationality of a Contracting State; (ii) all legal persons, partnerships and associations deriving their status as such from the laws in force in a Contracting State;

  • Controlling Persons means the natural persons who exercise control over an Entity.   • Trafficking in persons means the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs;

  • Ten Percent Shareholder means a person who owns (or is deemed to own pursuant to Section 424(d) of the Code) stock possessing more than 10% of the total combined voting power of all classes of stock of the Company or of any of its Affiliates.
