NRST definition

NRST means the Non-Resident Speculation Tax as set out in Sections 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 of the Land Transfer Tax Act (Ontario) and the regulations thereunder.

  • Under this initiative, funds must be used for eligible non-recurrent, short-term (NRST) benefits for needy families in which dependent children have, or reside with a family member who has, a diagnosis of a mental health condition, intellectual or developmental disability, and/or substance use disorder.
