Independent Certificate means a certificate or opinion to be delivered to the Indenture Trustee under the circumstances described in, and otherwise complying with, the applicable requirements of Section 11.1 of the Indenture, made by an independent appraiser or other expert appointed by an Issuer Order, and such opinion or certificate shall state that the signer has read the definition of “Independent” in this Appendix A and that the signer is Independent within the meaning thereof.
Certified means certified as a true copy of the original by a commissioner of oaths appointed under section 5, or designated under section 6, of the Justices of the Peace and Commissioners of Oaths Act, 1963 (Act No. 16 of 1963);
Certified counselor means an individual who is certified by a training program or certifying organization, approved by the director, that authenticates the competence of individuals who provide education and assistance to other individuals in connection with debt counseling and financial counseling functions.
Independent Certified Public Accountant means a person duly registered in good standing and entitled to practice as a certified public accountant under the laws of the place of his residence or principal office and who is in fact independent. In determining whether an accountant is independent with respect to a particular person, appropriate consideration should be given to all relationships between the accountant and that person or any affiliate thereof. Determination of an accountant’s independence shall not be confined to the relationships existing in connection with the filing of reports with the awarding authority.
Self Audit Certificate means the certificate in the form as set out in Framework Schedule 9 (Self Audit Certificate) to be provided to the Authority in accordance with Clause 17.3 (Records and Audit Access);
Certified inspector means an employee or agent of a VESCP authority who (i) holds a certificate of competence from the Board in the area of project inspection or (ii) is enrolled in the Board's training program for project inspection and successfully completes such program within one year after enrollment.
Certified check means a check accepted by the bank on which it is drawn. Acceptance may be made as stated in subsection (1) or by a writing on the check which indicates that the check is certified. The drawee of a check has no obligation to certify the check, and refusal to certify is not dishonor of the check.
Legal Adviser means the properly qualified person appointed by the Trust to provide legal advice.
Town Manager means the Town Manager of the Town of Chapel Hill or his/her designee and anyone acting pursuant to authority vested by state statute or local ordinance to issue local permits for Development on behalf of the Town of Chapel Hill.
Represented person means the principal, beneficiary, partnership, corporation, or other person to whom the duty stated in subdivision (a) is owned.
Certified operator means the solid waste facility operator or an employee of such operator who is present at the facility and oversees or carries out the daily operations authorized through this Permit, and whose qualifications are currently certified in accordance with Section 22a-209-6 of the RCSA.
Certified Plan means all the terms and benefits (including any Supplement(s)) that form an insurance plan certified by the Government to be compliant with the requirements of the VHIS. This Certified Plan comprises these Terms and Conditions and the Benefit Schedule and the followings –
Gift certificate means a merchandise certificate conspicuously designated as a gift certificate, and purchased by a buyer for use by a person other than the buyer.
Safety Management Certificate has the meaning given to it in the ISM Code.
Legal Advisor means the officer responsible for providing legal advice to the Standards Committee. This may be the Monitoring Officer, another legally qualified officer of the authority, or someone appointed for this purpose from outside the authority.
Payment Certificate means a payment certificate issued under Clause 14 [Contract Price and Payment].
Participating Certified Nurse Practitioner means a Certified Nurse Practitioner who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
Superintending Engineer means the In-charge Superintending Engineer of the Institute, who as overall In-charge and head of the Institute Works Department shall direct the contract.
Non-Participating Certified Nurse Practitioner means a Certified Nurse Practitioner who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
Certified nurse practitioner means an ARNP educated in the disciplines of nursing who has advanced knowledge of nursing, physical and psychosocial assessment, appropriate interventions, and management of health care, and who possesses evidence of current certification by a national professional nursing association approved by the board.
Corporate Representative means an Individual authorised by resolution of the directors or other governing body of a body corporate to represent it;
Certified mills means the lesser of 18 mills or the number of mills of school operating taxes levied by the district in 1993-94.
Independent Custodian means Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch.
SBI Engineer means The Civil/Electrical Engineer in-charge of the Project, as nominated by the AGM (P&E), SBI, RAJKOT
Sub-Adviser means an adviser to
Certified Interpreter means an interpreter who has demonstrated his/her ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially. He/she obtained national interpreter certification by taking national performance and knowledge tests. A certified interpreter has been awarded interpreter certification by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), National Association of the Deaf (NAD), and/or the BEI (Texas).
