Northeast Corridor definition

Northeast Corridor. ’ means Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Penn- sylvania, and Rhode Island.

  • When one employee or Board member is traveling within the Northeast Corridor, NJ Transit shall be used as the rail option.

  • MENT.—Within 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Northeast Corridor Infrastructure and Operations Advisory Commission shall transmit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Com- mittee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on the role of Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor service between Washington, District of Columbia, and New York, New York, in the economic development of the Northeast Corridor region.

  • Railway Corridor means, prior to the grant of a Special Railway Licence, the land for the route of the Railway the subject of that licence, access roads (other than Lateral Access Roads), areas from which stone, sand, clay and gravel may be taken, temporary accommodation facilities for the railway workforce, water bores and Additional Infrastructure (if any) which is the subject of a subsisting agreement pursuant to subclause (3)(a) and after the grant of the Special Railway Licence the land from time to time the subject of that Special Railway Licence;

  • Levee means a man-made structure, usually an earthen embankment, designed and constructed in accordance with sound engineering practices to contain, control or divert the flow of water so as to provide protection from temporary flooding.

  • Railroad means that term as defined under section 109 of the railroad code of 1993, 1993 PA 354, MCL 462.109.

  • Senior citizen center means a facility having the primary purpose of providing services to the aged as defined in Section 62A-3-101.

  • Electric bicycle means a “class 1 electric bicycle”, a “class 2 electric bicycle”, or a “class 3 electric bicycle” as defined in this section. (ORC 4511.01(RRR))
