Normal Occupation definition

Normal Occupation means your most recent occupation prior to the injury or illness that led to your disability. If the insured person had more than one occupation, it would be that which the majority of their income is derived from.
Normal Occupation means the regular occupation, job or work (apart from any temporary assignment) an employee was performing at the time he/ she became totally disabled by the condition which prevented him/her from working and led to a claim made under a policy .
Normal Occupation means your occupation at the time you became sick or had the accident that meant you were unable to work, or at the time you became unemployed.

  • Own Occupation means your occupation that you were performing when your Disability or Partial Disability began. For the purposes of determining Disability under this plan, Lincoln will consider your occupation as it is normally performed in the national economy.

  • Regular Occupation means the occupation you routinely perform at the time the Disability begins. We will consider the duties of the occupation as it is normally performed in the general labor market in the national economy.

  • Home occupation means an occupation permitted in a dwelling unit and which:

  • elementary occupation means any occupation involving unskilled or semi-skilled work;
