Non-rival definition

Non-rival means that the consumption of the good by one person does not prevent someone else using or consuming that good. Clean air is an example of a non-rival good.
Non-rival means the good (or service) can be used by an additional consumer with no extra cost. ‘Non- excludable’ means that it is impossible to exclude others from consuming the good (or service).
Non-rival means that one country’s consumption does not subtract from what’s available to other countries; “non- excludable” means that no country in the region can be excluded from benefiting, except at a prohibitive cost.
