Non-Provider definition

Non-Provider means a person who provides hospital, medical, dental or behavioral health care, but does not have a contract or subcontract with the Program.
Non-Provider subcontract means a contract between HMO and a third party which performs a function, excluding delivery of health care services, that HMO is required to perform under its contract with TDH.

Examples of Non-Provider in a sentence

  • HHSC reserves the right to require the replacement of any Non-Provider Subcontractor, which HHSC will not unreasonably require.

  • CONTRACTOR must also make Non-Provider Subcontracts available to HHSC upon request, at the time and location requested by HHSC.

  • Additionally, if CONTRACTOR desires to enter into a Non-Provider Subcontract that has a value over $100,000, CONTRACTOR must obtain prior written approval from HHSC.

  • CONTRACTOR must submit two copies of all Non-Provider Subcontracts to HHSC for approval no later than 60 days after the Effective Date of this Agreement.

  • CONTRACTOR must also ensure that its Non-Provider Subcontractors are required to cooperate in the investigation and prosecution of any suspected fraud or abuse, and must provide any and all requested originals and copies of records and information, free-of-charge on request, to any state or federal agency with authority to investigate fraud and abuse in CHIP.

  • All major Non-Provider Subcontractor, defined as those Subcontracts with a value over $100,000 or affecting a major function under this Agreement, terminations or substitutions require HHSC approval.

  • CONTRACTOR must notify HHSC no later than 90 days prior to terminating any Non-Provider Subcontract affecting a major performance function of this Agreement.

  • CONTRACTOR must ensure that Non-Provider Subcontractors are aware of their obligations and responsibilities under 42 U.S.C. Section 1320a-7a and 42 U.S.C. Section 1320a-7b.

  • Notwithstanding any Non-Provider Failure, Provider will use proactive, good faith efforts at all times to maximize the possibility that the Services will nonetheless be performed in a timely manner.
