Non-Instructional definition

Non-Instructional members as used in this agreement means bargaining unit members who are not regulated in their assignment by the Teacher’s Tenure Act, such as social workers, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, school counselors and media specialists.
Non-Instructional which shall include but not be limited to Health Aides, Duty Aides, and Clerical Aides.

Examples of Non-Instructional in a sentence

  • Where unsafe conditions exist the teacher(s) affected shall notify the school’s Safety, Maintenance, and Non-Instructional Duties Committee so that corrective action may be taken.

  • The committee will meet bi-annually to review the Non-Instructional Assessment tools and make recommendations.

  • If a problem with planning or distribution of non-instructional duties and responsibilities becomes apparent that cannot be resolved by the staff, it shall be referred to the Safety, Maintenance and Non-Instructional Duties Committee.

  • After such a teacher has successfully completed ninety-seven days of employment with the SBBC, the principal may petition Non-Instructional Staffing to have said status reinstated immediately.

  • The President of PEA may name two paraeducators to the Non-Instructional Assessment committee.

  • All transfers, promotions, or demotions must be cleared and approved by the Office of Non-Instructional Staffing.

  • Such written recommendation shall be sent to the Director of Talent Acquisition & Operations (Non-Instructional) who has the authority to approve or disapprove the recommendation.

  • Instructions to obtain electronic access to the Non-Instructional Assessment handbook will be provided to all non-instructional employees within the first fifteen (15) contract days of each year.

  • A properly completed transfer application submitted by an employee qualified for the job(s) desired will be maintained in active status by the Office of Non-Instructional Staffing for one year from the date of receipt or until the employee changes job code or location, whichever occurs first.

  • An eligible employee may submit a Request for Transfer Form and supporting documentation for a hardship transfer to the Talent Acquisition & Operations (Non-Instructional) Department.
