Non-Destructive Testing definition

Non-Destructive Testing. (NDT) shall mean inspection to detect cracks and discontinuities by Magnetic Particle Methods, Penetrant Methods or any other Methods as needed and shall be performed by an NDT Level III Certified Technician. The Certification shall be in accordance to the latest Recommended Practices of the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing.
Non-Destructive Testing means the testing of structures by the methods of magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing and radiography.
Non-Destructive Testing means any test to evaluate condition of structural members/components of Rigs/Machinery/Equipments without causing any damage. Tests shall be carried out as per NIT.

  • Constructive Termination means:

  • Destructive device means any article described in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(f) (including an explosive, incendiary, or poison gas - (i) bomb, (ii) grenade, (iii) rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces, (iv) missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce, (v) mine, or (vi) device similar to any of the devices described in the preceding clauses).

  • Constructive Sale means, with respect to any security, a short sale or entering into or acquiring an offsetting derivative contract with respect to such security, entering into or acquiring a futures or forward contract to deliver such security or entering into any other hedging or other derivative transaction that has the effect of materially changing the economic benefits and risks of ownership of such security.

  • Constructive Termination Without Cause means the termination of the Executive’s employment at his initiative after, without the Executive’s prior written consent, one or more of the following events:

  • Reconstructive breast surgery means surgery performed as a result of a mastectomy to reestablish symmetry between the two breasts and includes augmentation mammoplasty, reductive mammoplasty, and mastopexy.

  • Good Reason Termination means a termination of employment or service initiated by the Participant upon or after a Change of Control upon one or more of the following events:

  • Mental abuse means any willful action or inaction of mental or verbal abuse. Mental abuse includes, but is not limited to, coercion, harassment, inappropriately isolating a vulnerable adult from family, friends, or regular activity, and verbal assault that includes ridiculing, intimidating, yelling, or swearing.

  • Active NFFE means any NFFE that meets any of the following criteria:

  • Termination for Cause or "Cause" shall mean personal dishonesty, incompetence, willful misconduct, breach of fiduciary duty involving personal profit, intentional failure to perform stated duties, willful violation of any law, rule or regulation (other than traffic violations or similar offenses), or final cease and desist order, or any material breach of this Agreement, in such case as measured against standards generally prevailing at the relevant time in the savings and community banking industry. For purposes of this Section, no act, or the failure to act, on the Executive's part shall be "willful" unless done, or omitted to be done, in bad faith and without reasonable belief that the action or omission was in the best interest of the Bank or its affiliates. Any act, or failure to act, based upon authority given pursuant to a resolution duly adopted by the Board or based upon the written advice of counsel for the Bank shall be conclusively presumed to be done, or omitted to be done, by the Executive in good faith and in the best interests of the Bank. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Executive shall not be deemed to have been terminated for Cause unless and until there shall have been delivered to him a Notice of Termination which shall include a copy of a resolution duly adopted by the affirmative vote of not less than three-fourths of the members of the Board at a meeting of the Board called and held for that purpose (after reasonable notice to the Executive and an opportunity for him, together with counsel, to be heard before the Board), finding that in the good faith opinion of the Board, the Executive was guilty of conduct justifying Termination for Cause and specifying the particulars thereof in detail. The Executive shall not have the right to receive compensation or other benefits for any period after Termination for Cause.

  • Good Reason Event means (1) fraud, criminal conduct or willful misconduct by or on the part of the Company, (2) a representation or warranty made by the Company herein proving to be untrue in any material respect, or (3) a default in the due performance or observance by the Company of any covenant or agreement contained in this Agreement and such default continuing unremedied for a period of 30 days after written notice thereof to the Company by the Dealer Manager.

  • Involuntary Termination Without Cause means Executive’s dismissal or discharge other than for Cause. The termination of Executive’s employment as a result of Executive’s death or disability will not be deemed to be an Involuntary Termination Without Cause.

  • Effective Termination Date has the meaning set forth in Section 10(b) hereof.

  • Constructive Dismissal means, unless consented to by the Participant, any action that constitutes constructive dismissal of the Participant, including without limiting the generality of the foregoing:

  • Disposable respirator means a respirator for which maintenance is not intended and that is designed to be discarded after excessive breathing resistance, sorbent exhaustion, physical damage, or end-of-service-life renders it unsuitable for use. Examples of this type of respirator are a disposable half-mask respirator or a disposable escape-only self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

  • Termination for Just Cause means termination because of Executive’s personal dishonesty, incompetence, willful misconduct, breach of fiduciary duty involving personal profit, intentional failure to perform stated duties, willful violation of any law, rule or regulation (other than traffic violations or similar offenses) or final cease-and-desist order, or material breach of any provision of this Agreement.

  • Automatic firearm means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger.

  • Good Reason means:

  • Automatic Termination shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.3.2.

  • Specified Cause Event shall have the meaning set forth in the SLDs.
