Non-Academic definition

Non-Academic. Any injustice or unfair treatment that a student feels has been incurred which is not related to his/her academic performance or evaluation.  Grievant: The student filing a grievance under this procedure.
Non-Academic employees shall mean the administrative and establishment personnel.

  • Student Housing & Residence Life may also refer the matter for investigation and adjudication under The University Student Code of Conduct for Non-Academic Offenses.

  • The acceptance of this Agreement is subject to the adherence of the Resident to the University of Saskatchewan's Standard of Student Conduct in Non-Academic Matters, this Residence Agreement, the Application, the “Residence Handbook” found on the University of Saskatchewan Residence Services Website, the Residence Internet Service Agreement (where applicable) and the various policies, rules and regulations made from time to time by the University of Saskatchewan (the "Community Standards").

  • The University will permit the Union to book University rooms for which no charge exists through Non-Academic Bookings for business meetings of the Union at no cost.

  • The Associate Director, Non-Academic, Employee Relations or designate and the appropriate management representative(s) shall meet within thirty (30) working days of receipt of the STEP 2 grievance to discuss the grievance with the grievor, the Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ concerned, the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and a member of the Executive at a time to be mutually agreed-upon within five (5) working days following receipt of the request for such meeting.

  • The Parties agree that the selection of Academic and Non-Academic Managers shall be governed by Letter of Understanding RE: Selection Committees for Excluded Managers.

  • Non-Academic A leave of absence of up to two (2) years may be granted to any teacher, upon application, for the purpose of participating in exchange teaching programs in other states, territories or countries; foreign or military teaching programs; the Peace Corps, Teacher's Corps or Job Corps as a full-time participant in such program; or a cultural travel or work program related to his/her professional responsibilities.

  • This is a bargaining unit member’s total service in a specific classification within a specific College or Non-Academic Division.

Related to Non-Academic

  • Academic year means the period of twelve months beginning on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st September according to whether the course in question begins in the winter, the spring, the summer or the autumn respectively but if students are required to begin attending the course during August or September and to continue attending through the autumn, the academic year of the course is to be considered to begin in the autumn rather than the summer;
