Noble Corporation means (i) for periods prior to theEffective Time” described in the Merger Agreement, Noble Corporation, a Swiss corporation, and its predecessors, as applicable, and (ii) for periods on and after such “Effective Time”, Noble Corporation plc, a public limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, and its successors as applicable.
