NO2 definition

NO2 or "Nitrogen dioxide" means the chemical compound containing one atom of nitrogen and two atoms of oxygen, for the purposes of ambient determinations. The term "nitrogen dioxide," for the purposes of stack emissions monitoring, shall include nitrogen dioxide (the chemical compound containing one atom of nitrogen and two atoms of oxygen), nitric oxide (the chemical compound containing one atom of nitrogen and one atom of oxygen), and other oxides of nitrogen which may test as nitrogen dioxide and is sometimes referred to as NOx or NO2. (20.2.2 NMAC)
NO2 means nitrogen dioxide.
NO2 means nitrogen dioxides.

Examples of NO2 in a sentence

  • The black, red, green, blue, and orange curves indicate the trans- mission of the graphene/h-BN, CO + graphene/h-BN, CO2 + graphene/h-BN, NO + graphene/h-BN, and NO2 + graphene/h-BN, respectively.

  • When the orbital relaxation energy is the dominant factor, the introduction of the h-BN substrate changes the orbital relaxation, enhancing the sensitivity of graphene to NO2, such as increasing the adsorption energies and the reduction of the shortest distances between the graphene/h-BN and the adsorbed gas molecules.
