NMS Security definition

NMS Security means any security or class of securities for which transaction reports are collected, processed, and made available pursuant to an effective transaction reporting plan, or an effective national market system plan for reporting transactions in Listed Options.
NMS Security shall have the meaning provided to it at Securities Exchange Act Rule 600(b)(46).
NMS Security shall have the same definition as in Rule 600(b)(46) of Regulation NMS under the Securities Exchange Act, which for the avoidance of doubt includes both equity securities for which transaction reports are collected, processed and made available pursuant to an effective transaction reporting plan, and Options.

Examples of NMS Security in a sentence

  • In the case of a dividend paid on, or a redemption of, an NMS Security, the dividend or redemption proceeds will be passed along to the Customer Account in proportion to Customer’s ownership interest, inclusive of Fractional Share interests.

  • Worthless security means a security whose cost of liquidation and delivery to the administrator would exceed the value of the security on the date a report is due under this chapter.
