Prior to the employee’s return from leave to active employment status, the Department of Human Resources will advise the employee in writing of the full amount of health plan premiums advanced on his or her behalf by NJIT.
If the employee fails to select a repayment option or does not make timely payments, NJIT, upon written notice, may charge additional payroll deductions until the full amount of health plan premiums paid on the employee’s behalf during his unpaid leave has been repaid in full.
