Night/Weekend definition

Night/Weekend or “N/Wkd” means a period of time from 11:00 P.M. to (but not including) 8:00 A.M. Monday through Friday, any time on Saturday, and all day Sunday except 5:00 P.M. to (but not including) 11:00 P.M., as measured by local time at the location from which the call is originated.

Examples of Night/Weekend in a sentence

  • Holiday Rate Period - the evening rate will apply to calls made on the Company recognized holidays, provided, however, that calls made on holidays during the Night/Weekend Rate Period shall be billed at the lower of the Evening Rate and the Night/Weekend Rate.

  • In such cases, Evenings Rates will be applicable during all hours, except for hours when a lower rate (i.e., Night/Weekend) is applicable.

  • Unless otherwise indicated in these Rates, Terms and Conditions, during the following officially recognized holidays, Evenings Rates will be applicable during all hours, except for hours when a lower rate (i.e., Night/Weekend) is applicable.

  • Night/Weekend: From 11:00 p.m. up to, but not including, 8:00 a.m. local time, Sunday through Friday, any time on Saturday, any time on Sunday except for the period beginning at 5:00 p.m. up to, but not including, 11:00 p.m.

  • During the following officially recognized holidays, Evenings Rates will be applicable during all hours, except for hours when a lower rate (i.e., Night/Weekend) is applicable.

  • Discounts for the Evening and Night/Weekend reduced rate periods in the Rates and Charges section are expressed as a percent reduction of the charge calculated at the rates for the initial and additional minutes of messages occurring within the rate discount periods.

  • Night/Weekend List – trips during evenings, weekends, and days when Northwest Local School District is not in session.

  • Rating periods for domestic traffic are as follows: Daytime- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Evening- Monday through Friday and Sunday, 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Night/Weekend- Sunday through Friday 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM to Sunday 5:00 PM.

  • Alternatively, the Employee shall be entitled to elect to be paid for the Shift at the Night/Weekend Rate and to have one day added to the Employee's Annual Leave entitlement.
