Night Awake Shift definition
Night Awake Shift means a period of full awake hours between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. and includes the core night period of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Night Awake Shift means a shift scheduled between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Night Awake Shift means an employee who is awake during their shift through the night. Part-time Employee means an employee who is engaged to work less than 76 hours per fortnight. Public Holiday Rate means the rate of pay from midnight at the beginning of the public holiday for the duration of 24 hours except for employees working night awake or sleep shifts, in which case the employee will be paid the public holiday rate for the duration of their shift if they commence the shift on the public holiday. Qualifying Service means service of an employee which counts towards the accrual of leave entitlements in accordance with Schedule 2. Recreation Assistant means an employee who works on a one-to-one or small group basis supporting individuals to participate in recreational activity. Residential Aide means an employee who provides support to adults or children within the service. Rotating Roster means a roster with 24 hours per day and 7 days per week coverage and involves employees fulfilling shifts on Sundays, Saturdays and public holidays Sleep Shift means a period of rostered attendance at the work site during which the employee performs active duty for part of the shift and is also allowed to sleep. Sleep Shift (Alone) is an employee who is employed to work a Sleep Shift unsupervised. Sleep Shift (Supervised) is an employee who is employed to work under supervision on site. Social Trainer means an employee who is responsible for supervising other staff on shift and ensures the needs of people in the service are met.
