The Initiative shall contribute to achieving the overall objectives of the EEA FM and NFM as defined in Article 1.2 of the Regulation.

NFM shall withhold from any amounts payable under this Agreement such amounts as are required to be withheld pursuant to any applicable law or regulation, including without limitation amounts required to be withheld for Federal, State and local taxes, as well as garnishments and other required withholdings.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, NFM hereby reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Agreement as necessary to avoid the imposition of liability under or as a consequence of the application of the provisions of Section 409A of the Code.
