NF services definition

NF services means those services available in institutions, or parts of institutions, that are certified as nursing facilities by the Ohio department of health (ODH) or by the state survey agency of another state.

Examples of NF services in a sentence

  • During the 180-day benefit period, reimbursement for NF services provided by a Nursing Facility Provider can only be made through the MCO and not through the Medical Assistance fee-for-service claims system.

  • The CHC-MCO must abide by the clinical eligibility determination entity’s decision as to the need for NF services.

  • During the 100-day benefit period, reimbursement for NF services provided by a Nursing Facility Subcontractor can only be made through the MCO and not through the Medical Assistance fee-for-service claims system.
