Newbuild Contract definition

Newbuild Contract means a contract existing on or after the Request Date for the construction of a drilling vessel, rig or other drilling unit between any person and any member of the Group delivery of which drilling vessel, rig or other drilling unit has not been accepted by any member of the Group as at the Request Date.
Newbuild Contract means all of the newbuild contracts of the Group existing on the Refinancing Closing Date (as amended from time to time), including the Guaranteed Newbuild Contracts.

  • The Parent shall not (and shall ensure that no other member of the Group shall) make any direct or indirect payment to any person who is not a member of the Group under any Newbuild Contract, other than a Permitted Newbuild Contract Payment, a payment arising pursuant to a Permitted Newbuild Investment or a payment consented to by the Supra Majority Lenders.

  • CFD Contract or "CFD" shall mean a contract which is a contract for difference by reference to fluctuations in the price of the relevant security or index;

  • Prepaid contract means any Contract that has terminated or been prepaid in full prior to its scheduled expiration date (including because of a Casualty Loss), other than a Defaulted Contract.
