On July 1, 2019, when the New Union District becomes fully operational and is solely responsible for providing for the education of its resident students, the Forming Districts shall cease all educational operations on July 1, 2019 and shall remain in existence after that date for no more than six months for the sole purpose of completing any audits or any other task that the New Union District is legally unable to perform.
The New Union District, through its Board, has and shall exercise all of the authority that is necessary for it to prepare for full educational operations beginning on July 1, 2019.
