New Safekeeping Structure definition

New Safekeeping Structure means a structure where a Global Registered Note is registered in the name of a Common Safekeeper (or its nominee) for Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg and/or any other relevant clearing system and will be deposited on or about the issue date with the Common Safekeeper for Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg;
New Safekeeping Structure or “NSS” means the new safekeeping structure applicable to registered form global securities and which is required for such securities to be recognised as eligible collateral for Eurosystem monetary policy and intra-day credit operations. Registered Global Notes to be held under the New Safekeeping Structure will be registered in the name of a Common Safekeeper (or its nominee) for Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg and deposited on or about the issue date with the Common Safekeeper for Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg;
New Safekeeping Structure means the structure under which registered Global Securities intended to be recognized as eligible collateral for Eurosystem monetary policy and intra-day credit operations by the Eurosystem must be issued. Registered Global Securities issued under the New Safekeeping Structure must be registered in the name of a nominee of the Common Safekeeper and safekept by the Common Safekeeper.

(“Clearstream”) or another person designated as Common Safekeeper by either of them as International Central Securities Depositaries (“ICSDs”).
