New Pollution definition

New Pollution has the meaning set forth in Section 8.7(e).
New Pollution means Hazardous Materials that first occur after the Closing Date (“New Pollution”).
New Pollution has the meaning set forth in Section 8.7(e). “New Title Defect” has the meaning set forth in Section 8.9.

Examples of New Pollution in a sentence

  • Purchaser shall be responsible for any payments within the SIR, to the extent incurred to address claims related to New Pollution at the Locations, to the extent such New Pollution can be reasonably determined to have first occurred on or after to the Closing Date.

Related to New Pollution

  • Air pollution means the presence in the outdoor atmosphere of one or more substances which are or may be harmful or injurious to human health, welfare or safety; to animal or plant life; or to property; or which unreasonably interfere with the enjoyment by the people of life or property.

  • Water pollution means the unpermitted release of sediment from disturbed areas, solid waste or waste-derived constituents, or leachate to the waters of the state.

  • Pollution means pollution or contamination of the atmosphere or of any water land or other tangible property;

  • Environmental pollution means the contaminating or rendering unclean or impure the air, land or waters of the state, or making the same injurious to public health, harmful for commer- cial or recreational use, or deleterious to fish, bird, animal or plant life.

  • Pollution prevention means any activity that through process changes, product reformulation or redesign, or substitution of less polluting raw materials, eliminates or reduces the release of air pollutants (including fugitive emissions) and other pollutants to the environment prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal; it does not mean recycling (other than certain “in-process recycling” practices), energy recovery, treatment, or disposal.
