Network Member definition

Network Member means the person/employee/contractor/representative of the Network Owner that has accepted the invitation from the Network Owner to join that Network Owner’s My Safety Buddy Network.

Network Member means Canadian universities or post-secondary institutions with a mandate for research and their affiliated institutions including hospitals, research institutes and/or other not-for-profit organizations or other organizations eligible to receive research funds from any of the Granting Agencies and that employ or otherwise give academic status to one or more Network Investigators and that has signed the Network Agreement attached as Annex A but excludes any “department” or “departmental corporation” as defined in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act, any “agent corporation” or “Crown corporation” as defined in subsection 83(1) of the Financial Administration Act, any province or municipality.

Network Member means a Participating Institution, the Network Host and any other organization accepted for membership by the Board of Directors.

• EY may assign any or all of its rights hereunder to any EY Network Member.

• Supplier shall not use, or permit the use of, the name, trade name, service marks, trademarks, or logo of EY or of any EY Network Member in any form of publicity, press release, advertisement, or otherwise without EY’s prior written consent.

• Notwithstanding any other provision of this Purchase Order, Supplier’s recourse with respect to any matter (including any obligation of EY hereunder) shall be limited solely to the assets of EY, and Supplier shall have no recourse against, and shall bring no claim against: (i) any other EY Network Member, nor (ii) individual partner, director, employee, or agent of EY or of any EY Network Member.

• Based on the needs and expertise required in the response plan, a CTCN Network Member will be selected to implement it.

• Notwithstanding any other provision of this Purchase Order, Supplier’s recourse with respect to any matter (including any obligation of EY hereunder) shall be limited solely to the assets of EY entity identified in the Purchase Order, and Supplier shall have no recourse against, and shall bring no claim against: (i) any other EY Network Member, nor (ii) individual partner, director, employee, or agent of EY or of any EY Network Member.

Network Member will enable the BL-Network to deliver on the goals and objectives of the BL- NCE Program. Members are eligible to receive network funds and can be Canadian universities, private sector enterprises or not for profit organizations who have signed the Network Agreement and have substantial R&D operations in Canada or potential to benefit from R&D.
