National Employee definition

National Employee means any employee of Ascension Health engaged in Revenue Cycle Operations but without any operational responsibility for any Eligible Medical Group.
National Employee shall be as defined in Section 10.2(a).
National Employee means an employee employed directly by the Company who is paid on the local national employee payroll immediately prior to the Closing. A list of the names and positions of all National Employees as of the date of this Agreement who are expected to continue in such assignments up to the Closing is provided in SCHEDULE 10.2(a). At the Closing, Seller shall deliver to Buyer a revised list updating such information as of the Closing Date. All National Employees employed by the Company immediately prior to the Closing shall continue to be National Employees immediately after the Closing. At the Company's sole risk, cost and expense, the Company, at its discretion and subject to applicable Bolivian Law, may discharge, reassign, demote, promote or take any other action with respect to employment matters relating to a National Employee after Closing.

  • To the knowledge of the Company, each Company Foreign National Employee holds a valid visa and is permitted to work in his or her current capacity as a Company Employee pursuant to such visa.

More Definitions of National Employee

National Employee means any employee of Ascension Health engaged in Revenue Cycle Operations but without any operational responsibility for an Eligible Recipient; provided that those employees of Ascension Health’s Health Information Management (HIM) and National Revenue Integrity Team (NRIT) shall not be deemed National Employees and shall be deemed In-Scope Employees.
National Employee means an employee employed directly by the Company who is paid on the local national employee payroll immediately prior to the Closing. A list of the names and positions of all National Employees is provided in Schedule 5.6(a). At the Closing, Seller shall deliver to Buyer a revised list updating such information as of the Closing Date. All National Employees employed by the Company immediately prior to the Closing shall continue to be National Employees immediately after the Closing at the same pay and substantially in the same jobs and positions as were in effect for such National Employees immediately prior to Closing. Buyer shall cause the Company to continue to make available to National Employees after Closing benefit plans, programs and payroll practices substantially equivalent in the aggregate to the benefit plans, programs and payroll practices in effect immediately before Closing, as may be modified or terminated from time to time in the ordinary course of the Company's business. The Company shall retain all employment and employee benefit obligations relating to the National Employees and any former national payroll employees.
National Employee has the meaning given in Exhibit 4-A, Section 8.1(i).
