NAMR definition

NAMR means the Borrower’s National Agency for Mineral Resources, or any legal successor thereto;
NAMR has the meaning set forth the Petroleum Law and includes such other person or body which is duly appointed to act on behalf of the Government as competent authority under the Petroleum Law.
NAMR means the indepedent national agency for mineral resources to be established by the Borrower under Part A (1) of the Project.

Examples of NAMR in a sentence

  • Upon termination, the Parties shall make any necessary conveyances and shall take such other steps as may be appropriate to obtain any necessary approvals of NAMR so that the record interests of the Parties are as set forth in the preceding sentence.

  • The validity of a number of petroleum concession agreements has been challenged in court on claims that shale gas is not covered by the petroleum law No. 238/2004 ("Petroleum Law"), and therefore, the National Agency for Mineral Resources ("NAMR") could not have validly concluded such petroleum agreements regarding exploration and exploitation of shall gas based on the procedure set out in the Petroleum Law.

  • The Borrower, through MAI, MTCT, MEWM and NAMR, shall take all necessary measures to implement the Project in accordance with the PIP and shall not amend, suspend, abrogate, repeal or waive any provision of the PIP without prior approval of the Bank.

  • MTCT and NAMR shall maintain their respective PMUs during execution of the Project, with staffing and resources adequate to enable each PMU to effectively implement their respective Part of the Project, and which shall be responsible for financial management, procurement, disbursement, and preparation of progress reports and annual reports in respect of or related to the Project.

  • The Borrower shall assign the responsibility for carrying out Part A of the Project to MAI, Part B of the Project – to MTCT, Part C of the Project – to MEWM, and Part D of the Project – to NAMR.

Related to NAMR

  • SAMR means the State Administration for Market Regulation of the PRC or, with respect to the issuance of any business license or filing or registration to be effected by or with the State Administration for Market Regulation, any Governmental Authority which is similarly competent to issue such business license or accept such filing or registration under the Laws of the PRC.

  • Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

  • LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;

  • CM means City Manager of COE appointed in terms of Section 82 of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act 117 of 1998
