  • The UPC number consists of the NAED manufacturer’s number (6 digits) followed by the NAED product code (5 digits).

  • For any assignment (NAED categorized Cold) in which a First Response ALS unit (provided by the Contractor or by another County approved ALS response agency) is on scene within the Rural zone, then the Contractor response time requirement for a transport capable ambulance for emergency responses shall be 29 minutes.

  • For any assignment (NAED or equivalent categorized B-E) in which a First Response ALS unit (provided by the Contractor or by another County approved ALS response agency) is on scene within the Urban zone, then the Contractor response time requirement for a transport capable ambulance for emergency responses shall be 12 minutes and 59 seconds.
