MX Record definition

MX Record means the Subscriber’s resource record in the Domain Name System that specifies the mail server responsible for accepting email messages on behalf of your domain;
MX Record means a “mail exchanger” record, which is the resource record used in the domain name system that allows the mapping of a hostname to its mail server.

Examples of MX Record in a sentence

  • Changes / configurations to Name Service including MX Record Access to service may be disrupted; variable risk depending on scope of change.

  • Examples of typically unsupported scenarios are:  System configuration including DNS and MX Record settings (unless purchased through Cloud Direct).

  • Until such agreement is entered into, the Buyer agrees that each Name listed on part 2 of Exhibit I shall be subject to the MX Record Agreement.

  • Seller has assigned all of its right, title and interest in and to the MX Record Agreement to the Buyer pursuant to this Domain Name Purchase Agreement.
